“I bought the Vulcan Standard Bushing 15kg barbell ($249, free shipping) for my wife to use as a general purpose daily "WOD" bar at the gym. She currently also uses a Pendlay bushing bar ($339 prior to Muscledriver going out of business) when she Oly lifts at the house, as well as a Rogue bearing bar for Oly lifts at the gym. Additionally, she uses the gym's assortment of Rogue Bella bars and knock-offs for daily WODs. Out of the tube (packaging) the bar was in excellent condition. She has only used the bar 3 times and likes the spin, whip and knurling. Wanted to take a gamble and try a different brand. For the life of me, I can't understand why daily gym-goers don't make the investment in a personal bar, mark it with tape so no one else uses it, and leave it at the gym, as it is as important of a tool to use as the shoes one wears. The initial performance and value of the Vulcan product would be a great place to start for gym owner upgrading their inventory or an individual looking into purchasing a personal bar.”
