“Beds have a fundamental flaw in them that may render them unusable so beware. The high end models have small wooden legs that open up using a hinge that needs to be properly installed. When not, as was the case for our bed, wooden leg seats crooked, looking odd, and scratches the wooden surface as you open it and close it, marring the finish. Furthermore, since the hinge is crooked, the support is compromised as only a small fraction of the leg sits firmly against the floor. The user is left unsure if the bed can hold the advertised weight.
This is a manufacturing defect that was simple to avoid with proper quality control. I have sent detailed photos of the problem, and customer support seems to be inexistent. Emails, and follow up emails get ignored. We are afraid to use it now so we don't break the hinge, defeating the entire purpose of the bed. For the price we paid for this bed ($6000+), you would expect a better product and excellent follow up”
