“I've just hung this paper- thank goodness it's in a cupboard! The print is fine, the body of the paper is too thick and inflexible- as a result when scribing in and feeling through the paper to cajole it into corners and edges the paper creases up disclosing the white base layers of the paper( my paper is dark blue with a gold pattern)- This paper is fine if you have no nicky corners or anything other than straight drops to hang. So- If your a new build knock yourselves out.. if youre a Georgian character property... Don't buy this... I don't think I'll ever buy Cole&Son again. It's the kind of paper that it's tempting to create a template for and deal with it like you would do Linolium. Solvite does fine- no need to spend mega bucks on cole and sons pre mixed paste. just make sure no lumps and leave slightly thicker. also- really quite a large repeat on this paper- lots of wastage. had to be really canny taking pattern from the end of the roll despite having done the maths before I bought it - knowing I "had loads"... and now not enough to do the second wee job... mixed blessings- least I don't have to fight with it further... Awful, awful paper.. never again..”
