“These Peronda FS tiles, by Spanish designer Francisco Segarra, are fantastic. Bold and distinctly Mediterranean, they are also reminiscent of some Victorian or 1970s tiles.
We first saw them in a new restaurant near Valencia and knew they’d work in our space - a brightly lit, airy extension to an 18th century sandstone house. We’ve fused vintage Iberian and English complementary styles to create a unique room with a floor that breaks away from the well-trodden path of LVT parquet or limestone flags.
Don’t be put off by the appearance of the tiles’ print if you get a sample; they are designed to work when laid and grouted. Their colour varies with the changing light of the day and they pair brilliantly with darker wood and natural stone walls. Grout with a concrete-coloured Bal grout.”
“So far so good!
We’ve not laid these yet as we’ve not reached this stage in renovations but the sample is lovely, looks v sturdy. The delivery was fast and straight forward, the courier brought them in and placed them out the way neatly without any fuss. Can’t see that any are damaged. Would definitely order from walls and floors again.”
