“Although the tile was very well packaged, a corner had broken off - a peril of using natural slate. I contacted Walls and Floors who were brilliant. After viewing a picture of the broken tile they dispatched a replacement which arrived the next day with additional packaging.

“They're very beautiful tiles when they are laid. However they are not great when cut, flaking and shattering so that we needed to order an extra 7m^2 on top of the 17m^2 we thought we needed. They're lovely when laid but you'll need more than you originally budget for.”
“The description warns of variation and we were expecting these natural slate tiles to vary in colour and texture. Most of them did but at least three out of twelve were plain grey with a smooth texture in total contrast to the other tiles which were highly textured and multicoloured. Walls and Floors told me this is normal and would not accept return of these three tiles. They really contrast with the others.”
