“I was impressed with the sample I sent for. I even practiced cutting it gently with a jigsaw and it cut perfectly. Ordering process and delivery for the panels excellent. Unfortunately, the panels supplied appear to be of different quality so maybe a different production run. The blue coating seems thinner. My attempts at cutting (in exactly the same way as with the sample) resulted in the coating splitting away 10-15mm from the cut on each slat. The following morning I tried a different cutting method on the next panel, first using a sharp knife to cut through the felt from the back, then turning over and using a very fine hand held saw to gently cut each slat - and this worked OK albeit time consuming. The coating can mark easily so you need to be careful. I am going to try to touch up where necessary with a matching blue paint. Their appearance when unpacked is lovely, and once in place they should look superb.”
