“I requested a sample of the Sorrento Terrazzo tile. However, the sample had hardly any of the actual design on if so therefore I could not tell how this would actually look. I ended up going with another supplier.”
Hello Jane,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
As this tile is 800x800mm and the patern on the tile is spread around that area, it would be difficult to cut a 10cmx10cm free cut sample to show all of the design.
Our free cut samples are more to give an idea of the texture of the tiles and background shades.
As the tile is so large, it's not cost effective for us to send a full-size sample, but we do offer a quarter size which would give you more of an idea of the design.
“Although the tiles now look nice, our tiled told us these were the worst tile he’d ever worked with. He let us know the tiles were curved so when using the spacer it was essentially pointless as the gaps would get bigger towards certain parts of the tiles. Also the customer service was horrendous and although the estimator said we needed X amount of boxes to cover our space, it was incorrect by 2 boxes.”
“Tiles are of good quality and pleased with the service received but marking down based purely on the annoying constant marketing emails received since purchasing. Lost count of the number of times I have now unsubscribed so here’s your review - now please stop emailing me!!”
“Quite a lot of tiles were damaged on arrival due to inadequate packaging. Got a partial refund on the damaged tiles after emailing and filling in forms”
“I love the tiles, unfortunately, in one box of tiles, most of the corners had damaged. Have contacted Walls and Floors by email twice but have not had a response yet.”
“I have tried contacting Walls and Floors three times via email, the first was a couple of hours after delivery.
No reply, response, anything.. Although now I've had just as many emails asking for me to write a review.
Well here it is: tiles look nothing like the colour shown on the website, three came chipped, customer service is non existent.”
