“I recently bought the Hurricane, date brown black, for no other reason than when I saw it I was completely taken with the appearance. Most watches these days are shiny (gold or silver) and rather delicate looking. In contrast the Hurricane has a fine, dark, earthy look about it that exudes "capable". The comfortable leather band has a thickness and quality appearance that makes me certain it will last a much longer time than any other leather watch band I've worn. And the dial - it's a pleasure to look at. An all around handsome, well made watch.”

“i can only rave on about this highest quality in its price range watch. what you see isnt what all you get! no, there is more. quite a bit more actually. all kidding aside, i anticipated the delivery of my avi8 watch since the very minute i submitted the online order. i was quickly on my way to being a avi8 NUT! my order was processed very fast and it arrived sooner than promised. as i began to open my shipment i noticed the attention to detail in every aspect, right down to the person whom packaged my order at the warehouse. then the totally unexpected began. it was like Christmas! the quality extras blew me away as i had absolutely no idea that it would come with an extremely nice and totally cool storage box which looks great on the chest of drawers filled with bad-ass little extras out the you know what. even the instruction manual is cool. i dont want to be a spoiler if you are thinking of purchasing one so i have decided not to say anymore about the cool goodies that are part of the watch order. just wait until you open your own and you will see what i am referring to. now a quick summary of the watch itself. it looks far better out of the box or hell, in the box for that matter, than the jpeg does. the precision in the face features is amazing.”
