“i collect soviet era watches as well as many Russian pieces. what i love about this brand is that it does get the actual look and design cues right. while it doesn't have an authentic Russian movement in it, from a technical point of view that's better as the NH35 seiko caliber in it is totally superiour. this walks right up to the line of possible caricature, but delightfully stays in the real world and could literally be mistaken for a soviet watch that might have been, but wasn't, ever made. not a true diver, no screwdown crown and 100 meters water resistant, this is not bought to pick up abalone. the insanely believable design is reminiscent of Brutalist Architecture of the 50s and later. it looks like something you'd wear in a tank, and thankfully the lume works well enough to give some credence to that mystique. even has a bezel lume dot, which us timing nuts appreciate. ultimately a fun piece that will make even real watch folk wonder when this was made. to poach the Beach Boys: you'll have fun, fun, fun even though history took the Soviet Union away.”

“The watch was received broken - the second hand was detached. All the watched should be reviewed for quality purposes by watches.com before the watch is deliver to the customer. This will avoid claims and extra watch return costs.”

“Love this watch, photo shows watch lighter in color than it actually is but its richer in color. Only wish I could figure out how to change date and if the adjustment screw is supposed to turn or lock down.”
