The watch is everything and more, than I was expecting! It's beautiful and fairly easy to read. In low light it's not the easiest to Decypher (no pun intended), but that's not a drawback. If you need to read your watch in low light or darkness, get a backlit digital or quartz movement. Overall, I'd highly recommend this, if you want a unique limited edition watch to standout from the others. Xeric strives to be different, and it shows through their product. Cheers!

Up front, it's a very attention-grabbing piece. It's a very unconventional look, and if you're looking to solicit comments, it's great. Build quality, as with all Xeric watches, is top notch. This is my 5th Xeric. That being said, it's not the easiest to read. I feel that a different color would be easier to read, but even then I doubt it would be easy to do so. It takes a couple of seconds of staring at the face for my brain to put together what time is being displayed. I don't regret my purchase, but it's not my daily driver, so to speak.

I had issues with the movement of the watch along with the fact that it’s supposed to illuminate and glow in the dark and it did neither so I actually ended up returning it. Still was a really cool looking watch in person

I just receive my Decypher last week again Xeric has put another good looking as well as light to where a little hard to read the hour mark due to the blue facing. Will be happy to place the Decypher to my Xeric collation.

May be a bit hard to read at times but who cares - it is a show stopper!

I guess if you're a cat that can see in the dark, well.. then you can probrably see it. BUT for us mere humans, its non existent. I called and asked why, basically you need to get it close to a neutron star to have it charge and actually glow. When you do that, sure, it glows. For about 3 nano seconds. The pictures of it glowing are missleading to say the least. But, overall I do love the watch, its quality.
