“I've had several GShocks over the years but this is my favorite so far. They're trouble free and don't need any babying--even bounced around they don't show scratching. Previous models were selected from what a store had on display. This was a conscious selection of exactly what I wanted. I picked this one because it has parking hands (they can be moved out of the way of sub displays such as stopwatch functions, then automatically return. I has bright luminance on the hands and if that's not enough it has a very bright LED illumination (which is rarely needed). The third factor in my choice of this model is the analog subdial for a second time zone. The compass is pretty slick, not something I'd use often, though I did use the one in my old Casio Pathfinder a few times.”
