I like the Ora Major and it serves well as a basic watch. It is utilitarian in appearance though attractive and Projects uses the same design in a number of their watches. What sets the Ora Major and other watches in the series apart, such as the Nadir, Past Present Future, and others, are their distinctive and ingenious dials. From what I can see, the face and markings are a fixed piece with the smaller red hour stick-figure constellation above that and the larger white minute at the top. Both markings are easy to see in ample light but the red hour hand tends to disappear in less than favorable illumination. Also, there is no lume. However, I like the open pointer on the minute hand which makes it easier to see the markings through it. The band is made of Silicon and is comfortable. The 40mm case diameter (I don't know why Projects calls this dimension 37mm which it is obviously not. I have measured it.) looks good on my wrist. I like the Ora Major for it's interesting presentation, imaginative take on telling time and for bringing the clockwork of the heavens down to Earth.

Nice design but price too high, especially when find the label "Made in China" on the back of it.
