It's a great watch, especially at night! The Hodinkee leather strap is super comfortable. I'm happy.

Great and unique watch that looks awesome. Priority mail took 40 days to ship (Europe) which is terrible.

The tritium tubes unquestionably make it easier to read the hands in the dark, but they also take away some of the visual prowess of gazing out into space. I ended up settling on this quartz model because the tritium tubes are removed.

I was really excited about this watch and have traditionally stuck with buy Military Style watches such as Marathon - TSAR Marathon - CSAR Breitling - Avenger Hurricane Luminox - Recon Team Leader Luminox - Limited Edition Bear Grylls 3741 MTM - Spec Ops Cobra and Vulture both in titanium. to name several (you get the watches I like). So when I saw this watch, the reviews and the price it was a easy to place an order. I actually purchased this one, the next version up from this on ($450) and a 3rd version in blue ($800). I was excited since this seemed like a watch I could wear when I'm required to wear my suits or go out with my wife and not have her give me a hard time about wearing my military watches. After receiving the watch I was perplexed with how the price was determined because all 3 seem very similar, weight is literally identical, the movements are substandard and I've noticed when setting the time on all 3 watches that they dont keep time the same. The middle priced is faster than the other 2, the lowest priced one is faster than the highest priced watch and the highest priced version loses about 2 mins a night thus far compared to watches I've listed above. The bands are narrow and resemble the size bands on my wife's watches. I can't comment on the long term ability or how they will wear and tear will over time since all I did was see how they keep time, have not wore them. I will say I would be a bit concerned wearing this as your EOD, for me, I think I'd destroy this watch in just a few weeks and why I decided after leaving the Service to just keep purchasing Military grade and type watches.

I just couldn’t wait any longer to purchase the Trappist 1 NASA edition watch. The craftsmanship is spot-on, the lume is gorgeous in the dark, and the cupola design is genius! Great work!
