The subtle and intricate stitching on the leather strap, the Timex logo engraved on the crown, the circle on the hour hand to indicate the 24-hour time all lend to the understated elegance of this watch. While obviously not a professional dive watch, this model takes its queues from classic divers to deliver a simultaneously modern and classic watch. It's also perfect to be an all-around watch for someone who doesn't want to have a collection of wristwear specific to the occasion. It's dressy enough to wear with a jacket and tie, sporty enough to wear with a polo and chinos. Functionally, the unidirectional bezel seems tight and secure enough to stand up to years of use, and the 40 hour power reserve seems pretty accurate. There has also been no noticeable gaining or loss of time throughout the day. If you ever see this watch in stock, it's absolutely time to get it.”
