“My latest acquisition? A Xeric Voyager Automatic 1000m diver (or outer space) watch with plenty of personnality. It feels a tad smaller than its anounced 44mm, it actually wears more like a large 42mm, probably because of its beveled bezel and the fact that it is pretty thick . It feels like it is one SOLID piece of equipment. Tough and durable. But it is also quite refined. The display is clear and clean, the hands are very legible, the color accents perfect and the readability excellent. Even if the dial is original and quite extruded with many shapes, it is all logical and serves the purpose of telling the time. The bezel is angled, very lightly textured, but extremely easy to manoeuvre. It won't move by accident, but it turns effortlessly when needed. The lume is OK. I feel it could have been made to be even brighter, even longer, but it does work a while. The band good quality silicone, with fast pins to change it, and is very comfortable. The bronze Voyager backsplash is a neat touch. All in all, an awesome, tough and quite original watch I will pair with my white shirts or my white with red accent Fred Perrys.”
