“It was my least favourite of the three I purchased but still tasted very good. I found it much better when I tried it in carbonated water. I think this made it more realistic with the fizz.”
“I had put the cubes into sparkling water which it said you could and it immediately pushed absolutely all of the carbon out of the drink, leaving what can only be described as flat coke. I tried again by pouring a small amount of sparkling water into a jug and letting the cube dissolve in that before pouring that into a fresh bottle of sparkling water. It only retained a small amount of fizz, and still tasted like flat cola. That said, the cola flavour was good, hense 3 stars. I do not think these cubes actually work with sparkling water. Therefore really the only benefit to these was having the cola taste sugar free, albeit quite pricey.”
