Light enough to carry and strong enough to withstand the heat of a firepit, the Wild Grill is an easy-to-carry, flatpack portable BBQ, that can be used as a handy firepit after the last kebab has been eaten.
“Looks to be a really good quality grill. Haven’t used it yet but it’s easy to assemble, made from thick grade steel and finished to a high standard. Looking forward to using it on our next camping trip.
Would have been 5 stars except the bag had a 4cm hole on one seam when it arrived. Not sure if the bag is hard wearing enough to accommodate the weight of the grill long term.”
“AWESOME BBQ !
Tripod = the best configuration for stability on uneven camping grounds.
Easy and fun to assemble, quick to cool down and easy to dis-assemble too.
Jut rub each metal slate on the grass and give it a quick newspaper's rub to clean, re-pack in its sturdy bag and there you are !
Height is perfect.
So is ventilation ! Fire starts real quick and the embers last the perfect time for the 3 moderate eaters that we are.
At the end, there is very little waste, just a couple of cold burnt tiny coal.
Despite the many holes, there is very few ember droppings on the ground (beware to rake the dead leaves first though).
The grid's configuration is perfect balance between meat stability and easy cleaning.
Only little drawback is that the black coating burns off pretty soon around the heat spot... but as long as the BBQ is not staying in the elements it shouldn't be a problem. And the many positive points outbalance by far into a 5stars (I would even give it a sixth one if possible).
So : GO FOR IT !”
“Great design, practical and works brilliantly. Superb purchase. It’s well made and looks set to last years.
Be aware though that it is heavy!
I’d recommend a hard surface as hit ash does fall from the base during use.”
“Exactly what I wanted! Portable, collapsible to fit in m camper but sturdy and solid! Even comes with a carry bag. Great as both a fire pit and bbq! And bottle opener on the sides. In love with this product!”
