“Last year I ordered this blanket, but soon realized that as much as I liked it, it was too heavy for me. I am a 110 pound, 72 year old female and the 15 pound blanket was too heavy so I contacted the company directly and explained the situation.They recommended that perhaps the kid's blanket would be more to my liking, as it is exactly the same, but smaller and lighter. It's 60" x 41" and weighs 8 pounds. The customer service was excellent! They sent me a replacement blanket and I'm so happy with it. It's perfect! I even use it when I'm sitting in my Lazy Boy lounger and I feel so totally relaxed that I even fall asleep in my chair! It actually makes me feel very calm and it is truly amazingly cozy! I'd give it 5 stars in all categories!”
“I am obsessed with this blanket, I am 37 and use it at night to sleep with over my sheet then I put an additional comforter on top because it’s cold where I live.. I am able to feel the weight evenly distributed when I use it over the sheet . My husband feels like it’s so heavy he can’t believe I like it but to me it’s just right and it helps me sleep much more soundly through the night with no tossing and turning. The cover is soft, it’s seems to be great quality and I highly recommend it.”
“What a great buy!! I originally decided to buy the 20 lb’er due to my high anxiety and insomnia disorder, but after a few days I felt like it was too heavy. It was giving me more anxiety than helping!. I started to feel trapped and suffocated, so I did some research. With my weight, I found out that the correct blanket weight for me was actually between 15-20 lbs. Even though they say to go up a size, I exchanged mine for the 15 lb’er and I absolutely love it!!! The bamboo slip cover is like a stretchy tee shirt material. It’s cooling and extremely comfy! It’s now my favorite blanket!!! A MUST BUY! Just do the research first to find the correct weight for you!”
“I was looking forward to receiving this weighted blanket based on the reviews and description of the product. The unfortunate thing was that I got woken up at 3am on my first night trying this out. It got cold. I’m in California and the cold weather is not as bad as east coast where it snows. So imagine me freezing already in this California cold weather. It says that it is warm but it’s not. So I’m looking for other brand recommendations.”
“Ok, so I was super excited to get this, and the blanket itself was awesome, a jersey cotton feel! The blanket is well constructed!My only problem with it was probably too heavy for me. The weight on my legs was ok, but I kept waking up due to the weight on my arms, it was too much.Will probably try a couple sizes down.”
“I’ve used it for over 7 months now and have loved it! My only issue, which I only noticed about a month ago, is that the beads have fallen into other diamonds and I can’t seem to push the beads back into their rightful square. There are several patches that are much heavier than the surrounding diamonds. It hasn’t bothered me too much right now, but it is annoying. Just hoping it doesn’t get worse.It’s soft and comfortable otherwise. The ties to keep the duvet and insert aligned seem kinda cheap but it’s worked so far and hasn’t ripped.”
