“A specialised product made for the Scott Plasma TT frame which has a seat tube requiring cutting to height. This clamp replaced the original which was previously replaced under warranty due to a split in the alloy sleeve at the front where it abuts the join in the top tube with the seat tube, the same failure requiring replacement on this occasion. Whilst I was very grateful that Westbrook Cycles stocked this product after drawing a blank with Hargroves Cycles who said Scott could no longer provide a replacement, I was surprised at the cost at just shy of £100 is double the cost of the longer seat mast which has more material in it and could not have cost more originally.”
