“Excellent cold weather base layer the longer neck is a great feature, wear this with a soft shell jacket and your covered for temps from 2 to 7 degrees any warmer and I think this base layer would be too much as it does tend to make you feel colder after stopping say for a coffee in this respect it’s not as good as merino wool.”

“Excellent base layer for when the temperature drops into - figures, the longer neck does away with neck buffs keeping your neck toasty warm. As to it’s wicking properties yes the fabric works ok but no where near as good as merino wool base layers. So is it a good base layer yes but keep it for very cold days and low intensity rides as once it’s damp you feel the wind chill far quicker than an equivalent Marino base layer.”
