The E14 4W OMNI-LED Clear Candle Bulb brings some revolutionary technology to a traditional look preferred by incandescents. The OMNI-LED technology makes great strides in making this possible, as it allows the LED to do away with any reflectors, and ensures a 360˚ beam angle. It even takes on the stylish candle shape, so your light bulb can be economical without cutting corners on the design. This LED is the perfect replacement for your out-dated 50W halogen in many ways. It uses a fairly standard E14 fitting, making it so easy to retrofit this into your existing system, and join the LED lighting revolution. LEDs have so many advantages over older lighting technology, including their lengthy lifespan. Introducing OMNIPlus With our OMNIPlus range of LED bulbs, you’ll be getting a more efficient, brighter bulb that outperforms our previous range by far. An improved aluminium heat sink means an even greater lifespan, so your lighting will shine for longer. Join the next generation of eco-friendly saving and upgrade today. Long-Lasting This LED has a lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours, or, when used for eight hours a day, over ten years! Compare this to an incandescent’s lifespan, which is approximately 1,200 hours, you can already see the massive chasm in performance. You’d actually have to buy over 20 halogen bulbs in order to match the lifespan of an LED. But this wouldn’t matter if an LED couldn’t back this up in performance too. Energy-Efficiency This LED is crazily frugal with its energy usage, too. It uses 4W of energy, but delivers the same 330 lumens that a 50W halogen does. This means it uses more than 90% less energy than its incandescent equivalent, whilst still providing the same light. It also means that your lighting bills will become just 10% of their former selves, saving you extra money. And, considering that they last over twenty times longer than halogens, and they save you money every month, they’re an incredible investment to make. A Little Technical Info This LED measures just 90mm in height, with a 37mm diameter, making it small enough to fit in even some of the smaller lamps. It requires a 220-240v mains input, making it fairly simple to retrofit into your existing system. It also comes with a comprehensive warranty, that can be extended to five years. There’s also our 14-day cancellation period – if you pick the wrong bulb, you can return or exchange it for another. Cool or Warm? Incandescents only come in one colour temperature, but with an LED you can choose between two. A warm 3000k white is often better for bedrooms and living rooms, due to its intimate glow. The cool 6000k white often works better in a bathroom or office, as its clinical light can help you to focus. However, it’s up to you to experiment on what’s best for you décor. In the kitchen, you could combine the two – warm white could set the mood, whilst under-cabinet lighting could be cool white, to better illuminate what you’re doing. Check this video out...
