“The item supplied was not the same as pictured on the web site and appears quite different to the one advertised. Also, the carton was labelled as 70 Watts, which is what was ordered, but the item in the box was screen printed 80 Watts under the full front glass panel. The item supplied has no junction box below the light, but is 1 sealed unit with a short flex, so it needs to be connected to a junction box close to the installation point and cannot terminate an existing cable connection when replacing an old floodlight fitting with connection terminals. Despite this, I am very pleased with the item as none of this was a problem in my case. I presumably have a few more lumens of illumination for my money. The item is quite heavy and has a standard tilt bracket but no swivel. I needed to buy a separate purpose made heavy duty bracket with swivel adjustment, which I had planned to do anyhow. The existing power cable that I had needed to be terminated in an exterior grade junction box, which also terminated the short flex from the LED floodlight. This was located beside the wall plate of the mounting bracket. You need to plan this carefully to ensure that the flex will reach. This all worked well and the unit gives a good cold light (I chose daylight colour option) over the area that I required, which was around 120 degrees x 10 metres from a 5 m above ground installation position. The instructions provided were wholly inadequate and incomprehensible English, but the unit is pretty solidly made and only has a standard flex to connect, so a competent electrician should have no problem. I have only just installed the unit, but it looks tidy and I hope it will last a long time.”

“I have used this light as a replacement for a halogen floodlight in a barn. As it is very high up, I wanted to avoid the frequent tube replacement. In addition, I wanted the light to operate at a lower temperature (fire risk) and to be cheaper to operate. I am very happy with this LED floodlight which meets all my requirements.”

“This is a solid well built floodlight. The 70w warm white replaced an old 500w halogen light, the light is obviously brighter than the old Halogen as equivalent to 700 watt halogen bulb (50w Led equates to 500 watt halogen). Note you will need an external junction box to go with this as no internal junction in floodlight. I did think the mounting bracket could have been made from a heavier gauge steel as the floodlight is quite heavy although no problems so far. I would buy this again.”

“These lights were fitted inside a church ,comments were very good.When finance is available again we hope to install more fittings.This will also give the church a saving on the electric bills.certainly look good and work well for us.”
