“Good size for replacing a std. G9 bulb. As bright as a std bulb. (note only had them on a few times so the brightness may reduce over time?). My only comment is they glow when switched off. Having 6 in the ceiling light fitting the light from the glow is very noticeable. Not sure if this is costing me as they glow for 24hrs? Some feedback from WLed. Would be useful.”

“I bought this LED bulb to replace one of the five halogen bulbs in a light fitting. It was a plug-in replacement so no trouble in fitting. It is much brighter than the halogen bulbs, the build quality is good and hopefully will last much longer than the halogen which only last a few months, but time will tell. Also it is only 3W compared to 28W for the halogen so should lower energy costs.”

“These are weird. They look like glass capsules but they're not - they're sort of rubbery resin and would appear to be pretty much indestructible. Not planning on testing that though. They provide a nice warm light very similar to a tungsten bulb. Not as bright as a halogen but not as harsh. The dimming isn't a problem and they dim cleanly without flicker. Packaging at first appears to be massively inadequate, but see my first comment as to why this is not, in fact,the case... Overall I'm happy. Then again, they've not been in for very long. Relax - if they explode or summon demons or do anything else unplanned then, provided I survive the experience, I'll come back on here and tell you.”

“These bulbs look good and produce a reasonably bright light but it is not projected from a fitting over the kitchen island as effectively as the traditional bulbs do. Although these are warm light rated they are also a "whiter" light than the old bulbs which produced a softer ambient background”
