Colour temperatures are simply a measure of how warm a light looks, and is measured on the Kelvin Scale. Warm white emits a soft shade, which is very similar to the light given off by traditional halogen bulbs. It’s brilliant for areas like the living room or bedroom where relaxation is the priority. Cool white on the other hand offers a cleaner, icier shade of white that is more penetrative, and better for illuminating large spaces.
