It’s neat, compact, and comes with everything you need – our state-of-the-art Infinity 10w PIR Motion Sensor LED Floodlight is an effortless combination of style and functionality. The most striking thing about this floodlight is its appearance. Instead of a conventional ugly, boxy design, its slim, curved aluminium construction makes it pleasing on the eye, and will look great outside your house. At just 10W of power consumption, it’s really frugal on energy. This doesn’t mean it compromises on performance though – from 750-800lm it’s perfect for illuminating small outdoor spaces. It spreads the light over a 120° beam angle too, so there won’t be a single corner of your outdoor space left in the dark. This particular floodlight acts as a great deterrent to potential burglars and intruders, as it comes with a built in PIR sensor – capable of detecting motion from up to 15m away across a 120° horizontal range! Anyone approaching will be well illuminated too, thanks to a colour rendering index (CRI) of 80 – this is particularly handy if you have CCTV installed on your property too. IP65 rating protection ensures it can withstand even the worst weather, and a massive 30,000 hour lifespan means it won’t need replacing for literally years! This Floodlight doesn’t come with any form of override. Introducing Infinity 3.0 The Infinity 3.0 range of LED floodlights is much improved, with more penetrative light reaching into the limits of your exterior. The energy-efficiency has been massively heightened, with a much higher brightness-to-watts ratio than ever before. The PIR sensors on selected models have also been finely-tuned, to avoid erroneous actions, and only highlight what’s necessary. Customised To Your Needs There are 2 options available for you to change when you buy this floodlight. The first is simply which colour you would like it to be finished in, with black or white available. The other feature you can tweak is the colour temperature that the floodlight emits. Colour temperature is simply a measure of the perceived warmth of a light on the Kelvin Scale. The first option is Warm White (3000K). This appears very similar to traditional halogens, and emits a soft, comforting shade. The other option is Cool White (6000K). This is much brighter than the warm variant, offering a sharper, more penetrative light, which works great for large open areas. Perhaps the 10W isn’t powerful enough for you? Why not check out our whole range of PIR LED floodlights, with varying levels of light and power. Switching To LEDs Among the myriad of reasons why you should switch to LED lighting, one of the main things that draws a lot of people in is the amount of money you can save. It all starts from how efficient LEDs lights are in comparison to the competition. When you switch an LED light on, it only loses around 10% of its energy to heat wastage. Halogen lights on the other hand lose up to 80% to heat. Not only does this explain why they get so hot, but it’s also incredibly inefficient. This is how LEDs are able to use a fraction of the energy when compared to halogens, thus saving you money on your electricity bills. The savings don’t end there either. As a direct consequence of their efficiency, LEDs have much longer lifespans as there is less heat passing through the internals of the bulb itself. They actually last 20 times longer than halogens on average! This drastically reduces maintenance costs, as you spend less on replacements. What’s more, we can help with the savings too.
