“I’m pretty happy with the lights- they dim well, unlike others I’ve bought in the past.
I gave them three starts for two reasons:
- they were a bit fiddly to put together. Perhaps I’m too lazy, but I was expecting just to wire them to the mains not to be wiring the transformer to the lamps
- more importantly, one of the two spring arms broke on each of 7 of the 8 lamps as I installed them. I initially thought I wasn’t being sufficiently gentle but it happened time and time again however carefully I tried to insert the light into the ceiling. I have similar lamps throughout my house and have never experienced this problem before. The lights are held horizontally just about ok with one arm but a couple are slightly wonky.”
