“First batch of 27 lamps have all but failed now in less than 2 years, took about 12 months from first failure for the entire lot to go, just had the first replacement (different batch number) fail this week, same as initial batch got about 12months use from it, expecting the rest to follow suit now. Good illumination from these units but they don't last. No problem getting them replaced but you have to foot the cost of the return postage which is becoming really frustrating. I asked about a job lot exchange for a better lamp unit and offered to pay the difference but was refused. I'd avoid these units if your looking for a long term solution.”

It is strange to have this much failure rate within a batch of bulbs. I can see you have returns the bulbs for a warranty claim however those particular bulbs are on back order. I will have this investigated further to get to the bottom of what has happened.

I apologise for the mix up, the bulbs you have received are a local alternative as our brand is currently out of stock till the end of the month. There are slight differences between the light but still work exactly the same.

“Thank you for asking me to review these bulbs. It gives me the opportunity to say these were a re-order of the 22 previously ordered because I have bought more downlights. The previous ones were made by Mirrorstone, 500 lumens, these you've now sent are made by Energizer, 425 lumens. Ive not had chance to compare them because I've not fitted the downlights yet. I'm hoping there will be no difference in the light they give off. But there was no explanation as to why you have substituted them? We'll see.”

The bulbs you have order were out of stock so we have to source a local alternative which is what you were supplied. The lumens are slightly lower, however the CIR rating is higher. I apologise that you were not informed of the change.
If you are not happy with them please let us know and we can resolve it for you.

I apologise for this, the stock has been temporarily changed over to the Energizer but the new stock is due is within the next few days.
