Hello.. thanks for the feedback. However we are not sure why Route protection is getting a 3 star review? Did you file a claim with them and were denied? They are a service to replace lost, stolen or damaged items. However, they do not cover "packaging" that was damaged by the US post office. Sadly, that is a complaint for the USPS, not us. We do everything we can to package and protect your item, but once its shipped and in the hands of the USPS there is nothing we can do.. its out of our control. Thanks

Route package protection as I found out is a waste. USPS already covers the shipment insurance for the price of the grips. And I couldn't file a claim until 2 weeks after the last update from USPS. So, I watched as my package got sent almost 100 miles away for no reason and couldn't do anything.

Sorry you had an issue with route, but let us explain why we offer it. USPS does not cover with insurance the package at our "Free shipping" level of service. They only offer tracking. We offer route because USPS does not pay claims. In 20+ years of shipping, USPS has never paid a lost/stolen package claim, costing us thousands over 20 years. There was not a single instance in over two decades where a USPS claim was filed where there was a resolution. The post office would lose packages.. or they would be stolen from porches, and we would take the loss. Route on the other hand has paid every single legitimate claim within days of the customer filing the claim. Legitimate as in, the custom filed a claim, and tracking showed that USPS has miss handled the shipment. Customers are always free to email us and ask for help navigating route if they are having trouble.
