Lotus shoes are just gorgeous in person as they appear to be in Wildling’s photos. They are my house shoes. A perfect fit for my feet, I don’t feel at all restricted. They are warm and comfortable. I’m so pleased.

These slippers are gorgeous- the material and style are on point, as is the flexible, grippy sole. I'd like to see more color options, as the light gray is more likely to become dirty looking. The fit is disappointing- I was looking for a barefoot-friendly house slipper, and I sized up to a 10W from my usual 8W, knowing that I often need to do this to get the width I require in most (even minimal) shoes, and also wanted to have ample room for thick wool socks. However, the width through the toe box is JUST wide enough- not ample at all, even with the intentional size-up, and the volume across the top of my foot is WAY too snug. I ended up cutting a slit down the front of the slippers to give myself more space. It was a shame to have to do that, but now they work well. I'm hoping in the future there will be wider/high-volume-friendly options!

I'm glad I picked up a pair of these Lotus slippers. They are comfortable and warm. Super lightweight. I have a few design suggestions: They have a different bottom to standard Wildling shoes - it's quite a bit narrower. I would prefer a wider piece of sole rubber to protect the sides from the floor. If you wear barefoot shoes for a while, you'll end up with a wider forefoot. I've had other natural wool slippers and without reinforcement in the toe, they can start to fall apart as the pressure of your toes pulls the fibers apart (for me it's the big toe). So I'd also suggest an interior toe protector. In general they're great.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Lotus Slipper, Daniel. It's lovely to hear that they're keeping your feet cozy and warm and you're happy you've added them to your collection of Wildling shoes. Your suggestions and wishes are much appreciated. The sole and traditionally molded wool felt make Lotus a slipper to last. It falling apart shouldn't be something to worry about, but if some issue does appear, the customer service team is happy to help: https://www.wildling.shoes/pages/kontakt. Warm wishes from the Wildling Shoes Team Janina
