What size recommendation would you like to make for the model?
Choose the normal size.
“My foot measures 10.75 inches. My foot would fit in the size M 10 but the big toe was rubbing the rubber sole so I returned and later bought the M 10.5 and I'm good to go, perfect amount of space for running. Immediately removed the insole, laced up and ran in them.
Very tactile, more than any other minimalist footwear I have run in. This is coming from a guy who started wearing Inov8 195's 15 years ago to most recently Vivobarefoot Primus Lite Knit (many others as well).
Where these really stand out is how forgiving the uppers are. I know this is obvious concerning the structure of the shoe but compared to the Primus Lite Knit it is massive. To be brief, the Primus Lite Knit has a "snap" effect while in stride that could trip you up if you weren't careful. The uppers have a plastic seam that runs with the toe box that is stiff, the soles are also stiff in the toe box - partly because you have to size up to get the appropriate width for toe spread. (Done bashing Vivo, just offering a comparison for any other minimalist runners out there.)
Today I laced up more tightly to avoid any shifting movement while running, not too sure it made a difference. After today's run I decided it is probably more just the fabric moving with your foot and feels as if you are sliding when it really isn't. These things are like an extra sock. I relaxed into them today in ways I couldn't from years of Vivos (sorry). I found myself with an optimal stride and good pace.
If I have any concern it would be that opening between the soles where there is only fabric. Any debris on the path you're traveling can be caught up in that spot. However, mindfulness is the game when wearing shoes like these.
I can't provide a review of their durability but I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up over time.”
