“I ordered the Wilson Pro 70 unit. This unit performs excellent, much better than I expected. I live in a rural area and was able to get a -105 dbm 4G service at one spot near the end of my house on the outside. I installed the antenna in this spot and am now able to get a -95 dbm 4G signal throughout most of my house. The voice 1x signal boost (for talking) is even better. I can talk on my phone anywhere in the house and outside as long as I don't get too far away. Because of this unit, I don't have to get a landline and will pay for itself in no time! “Hello every one!My unit work pretty good.I had to order an extra antenna and two way splitter for two rooms.My house is about 25 ears old and has L shape.My 4g internet speed upload increase tremendously , about 10mb. and 40 mb download .Much better than DSL ATT modem,3mb download.I have unlimited Verizon data plan and can watch HD movies on the TV by using Belkin fire stick.My cell signal fluctuate.,from 120 db to 87 db from time to time ,but I think is normal.One frequency I believe 700 mz. has an oscillation,but its not bothering me at all.In general unit stable and work find. “Thank you. I'm happy with the product I purchased and I'm happy with the service I've received during the purchase process and the installation process. I live rurally and my phone signal inside the house is unreliable. Where I most need and want a strong signal (in my room) was the MOST unreliable. After installing the equipment (which I felt comfortable doing myself after talking in detail with Babett, my sales person), I now have 4 bars reliably in my room... a place where I previously had no signal or very little.
Babett gave me lots of install information before purchasing so I could evaluate a couple of different products. And I was able to think through what the install would look like in this house before I ever purchased. With all the forethought I did, I didn't even need to call in for install help. The instructions were thorough.
Cons: Even though I bought a strong commercial grade product, I'm not sure it's going to boost the signal throughout the whole floor to the level I want it. I could probably add extra antennas to expand the coverage.
The only gap in info was about grounding the lightning surge protector. There was no information or instruction about what was needed. I had to educate myself with google searches and talks with the electrical people at Home Depot. I got it figured out and then was able to find the grounding rod at the house and buy the right kind of grounding wire. But this was a question I called Ubersignal with and my sales person was not able to help me. Nor did she forward my question on to a technical person. It would have been helpful to get educated by UberSignal on the grounding process with as much excellent instruction as every other part of the install. A suggestion for future sales.
