“This system is working well for me. My cell phone signal strength outdoors is 2-3 bars (103 db) and indoors (house has a metal roof) it dropped to 1 or less. There were only a couple spots inside where a phone call would not drop, and I frequently had to go outside to send MMS. My house is very small (865 sq ft). I installed the outside antenna at the corner of the house where signal strength was highest, and placed the indoor antenna in the approximate center of the house. This doesn't exactly meet the installation specification of having the two antennae 20-50 feet apart, but it is working. I have 3-4 bars of signal strength throughout the house now. Now tested in both clear and stormy weather, the system gets a positive rating all around. Installation was not difficult (I am a female "senior" do-it-yourself-er) but I was happy to have a second person help out for ease of feeding cable, etc.”

“1. I used Signal Strength app to map the inside and outside of house and found a very weak signal, almost zero in house and a marginal signal on roof (middle of red zone) in one spot
2. Based on this I rolled the dice and bought the unit.
3. I installed it on roof in spot with best reception with an antenna mount I made that got me about 2' above the roof.. Note, you can buy neat J mount antenna mast for under $40 to mount on rake of roof. I made my own because I didn't want to wait for unit. Google phrase "J mount antenna mast" and you will find these units.
4. I used Open Signal app to orient antenna on Wilson unit at roof.
5. Note I followed all instructions and watched all videos about installing prior to tackling job.
6. Differences were profound. I went from dropping calls to good signal and from no internet at all to reasonable internet speeds and easy to surf the net.
