“This is the second booster I have purchased from Wilson, so obviously they work, I use them in a camper and this one in a metal building in a remote area with poor signal quality. First off for this to work you must be able to get a signal to start with, but my phone would only work outside, so I mount the antenna on the roof then I can use the phone (mostly for a hot spot) inside. If you want to talk on the phone it's best to buy a blue tooth ear bud that way you can leave the phone in the cradle and move about freely while you talk. It boosts my signal from no bars inside to about three bars. the signal outside is one to two bars, so it's not that it boosts the signal a ton, but it does bring it indoors and that is what I really needed. On this particular model the cord lengths were not ideal, it seems as if they want the amplifier unit mounted rather close to the antenna, but then they give you two miles of power cable and cradle cable. seems like it would be better to make the antenna cable longer and then mount the amp near the cradle and power source.”
“Set this device up in a pop-up camper at a remote field site on the Colorado/Wyoming border. Had one, maybe two bars prior and immediately went to full bars as soon as I put the phone in the cradle. Solid cell phone connection and fast internet connectivity over the entire 4 day/3 night stay at this location. Exceeded expectations.”
“I use this at the lake where I have zero signal at times. When I plug this in my phone had 3 bars of signal, I was able to watch videos and make calls no problem. I love this thing”
“The unit works great as far as amplifying your signal. I run a heating and air-conditioning company and we have to run credit card sometimes in isolated regions therefore this makes that procedure possible. My only complaint with the product is how it mounts in the vehicle. Even with that issue I will be purchasing more for any vehicle we add to the fleet.”
