“I have a remote cabin in the piney woods of East Texas. The cabin has a metal roof and I'm sure the cell signal has degraded over the years as my pine plantation has matured. Outside of the cabin I could receive one bar and at times two, but inside I only had one bar and at times no service at all. Since the cabin has a TV tower that is no longer used I installed the antenna 15' up the pole and it was just above the roof ridge line. I confirmed the ATT tower location using the recommended app. I used the flat cable to go under a window and placed the inside antenna in a temporary location near the center of the main room. There was no need to adjust the antenna direction since I received four bars when directly in front of the inside antenna. At 12-15' I had three bars and had two bars in most other places in this room. This improved signal allowed for quick loading of web sites. This fall, during cooler weather I will relocate the inside antenna to a more central location by passing the cable through the attic out of site. The entire temporary installation only took about 30 minutes due to my TV tower being easy to access. I'm very pleased with this booster. Also, I did contact Wilson a couple of times prior to installation to clarify a few questions and found that you actually talk to a real person who is very knowledgeable,”
