“I live very rural in a 3000 sq ft home, where cell service often times is non-existent. 5 bars on my verizon phone has a signal strength of ‚Äö√Ñ√¨89dBm, which was verified where signal strength was strongest. The MultiRoom signal booster increased my signal strength by 20+dB; without the booster, the best 4G LTE signal measured ‚Äö√Ñ√¨117dBm w/1 out of 5 bars and sometimes NO service at all.
The booster is installed on the 1st floor. When I place cell calls on the 1st floor, my signal strength ranges from –105dBm w/3 bars to –91dBm w/4 bars.
When i place calls on the 2nd floor, I have 4G LTE w/signal strength of –107dBm, 2 out of 5 bars & cell calls are very good.
I have been using the MultiRoom Booster for 3 weeks now & NOT even one call has been dropped. Installation took two of us approximately 4 hours.
We did not mount the outside antenna to a pole, we just used the bracket clamps and mounted the antenna under an eve.
To protect our investment, we did install the Lighting Surge Protector between the outside antenna & a grounding rod.
I downloaded the free google play app “Signal Check Lite” to verify signal strength.
I feel this booster is far superior to verizon‚Äö√Ñ√¥s network extender, and no router needed.”
