“I will be very specific in my personal situation, because I could only find one review similar to my scenario....My shop is a steel building. With the doors closed I had no network...not zero service, I had nothing. A circle with a line through it where my bars would be. I ordered the booster and separate antennae mounting kit and hooked it up. I didnt do any of the prep I simply pointed the outdoor antennae in the direction of the nearest tower and hooked up the coax cables. I plugged it in and had 4 green lights....and CELL SERVICE. I went from nothing to 2 to 3 bars inside (4 is about the best outside) Its well built, heavy duty, and easy to install. I believe the cost difference is directly related to the coax cable provided. Some of the other units I priced came with only 25-50 feet. This unit has well over 100. It works, simple as that.”
“I did get a improvement to signal strength ( 8 db improvement on 3G and 4 on LTE) but it's back to Verizon's poor internet speed in our area. Increase signal strength did do anything to improve speed.”
