“Meter works reasonably well for stated purpose. Out of about 50 samples, had 3-5 that indicated a scan failure for "unknown reasons." Not a helpful error notification, but resetting the device and reconnecting usually resolved the issue. Would be beneficial to include LTE Band 14 in the scanning capabilities as we were looking to measure ATT's FirstNet band also (700 MHz) which they also use for commercial service as well as public safety. Don't know if that's a hardware limitation, or could be addressed in firmware.”
“We recently purchased a Cell LinQ Pro meter with hard case and have used it in several areas of the country over the last 6 weeks. Our Field Engineers use the device to validate backhaul for our AMI networks backbone. The device worked equally well in the San Diego region of California as it did along the northern border between Maine and Canada. The Cell LinQ quickly mapped the cell sites it "heard" and easily downloaded the captured RF data for later analysis.
So far the Cell LinQ has met all of my expectations.
