“This was easy to install and gives partial privacy which is what I wanted. I previously installed completely private sidelights (different vendor) and missed being able to see outside a little bit when needed. Follow the directions- the paper backing cannot get wet or will discolor the film. I now have day and night privacy which was much needed as I had neighbors waving at me during the daytime when I was inside my home.”
“I am very pleased with this sidelight. You can see out of it partially yet it really provides a lot of coverage and privacy. It was easy to install BUT when it says don't get the backing wet..they mean it... the paper backing ...if wet...adheres to the film creating an etched effect much darker than the rest of the film... just be super careful to not get the paper backing wet..not sure how mine got wet but its not noticeable due to where I damaged it/cutting to fit window. Customer service is excellent. I would recommend this for any sidelight to have privacy yet one can see out day/night.”
