Recently received the first dispatch from The Club and have been pleased so far. Really well packed and delivered by DPD, which is awesome as their delivery tracking with their app is excellent. The beers in the box-a good selection, although it would be nice for members to set some parameters for what will be delivered. If perhaps a short questionnaire could be part of the membership sign-up? Whilst I appreciate part of the fun is not knowing what's coming, if some basic questions could be asked ahead of time it could make the experience better. E.G. What styles do you like? Pales, IPAs, Stouts, Session ales, Wheats... From my own experience so far there were two Sours in the box, Purple Rain. I see why they are in there as it is a new beer, however I don't do sours on any level and if this had been established perhaps at sign-up, I could have had something else. I was surprised to not see a stout, given the time of year many folk turn to darker beers, but there were none. I love the Milkshake Stout. So I think there is some merit in establishing some parameters at the beginning so that people can 'not tick' certain beer styles if they don't want them, whilst not being too prescriptive so that it removes the fun element from receiving a surprise box of beer. An option to omit the large 2-pint stein and maybe have two beers in its place would have been nice. Or, a regular-sized beer glass, which would have been more useable on a day-to-day basis. I hope this makes sense and maybe assists W&T in their planning for future Club deliveries. I look forward to seeing what comes in Round 2! Have a great Christmas and best wishes for the new year! Andy
