“Der Rasierhobel aus Rosenholz ist optisch ein Schmuckstück im Badezimmer. Die mitgelieferten Rasierklingen sind sehr gut. Das einsetzen der Klinge gelingt auch ganz schnell und einfach, durch abdrehen des Griffes. Der Rasierer hat ein ordentliches Gewicht, sodass der Rasierer gut in der Hand liegt. Der Rosenholzgriff ist zu beginn unfassbar glatt aber nach der ersten Berührung mit Wasser rauer und griffiger. In Kombination mit Seife ruscht dieser in keiner weiße aus der Hand. Insgesamt macht der Rasierer eine sehr gute Arbeit, was mir besonders gut gefällt, ist das man von beiden Seiten die Klinge nutzen kann und ein gewisser Abstand zwischen Gehäuse und Klinge ist, sodass kein "Haarstau" entsteht. Einen beweglichen Kopf hat der Rasierhobel nicht, was aber nicht schlimm ist.”
“Wow.! where do I start... I have three DE razors and love them, they beat any 2-4 blade razor on the market, hands down. I wanted to try a razor that was not butterfly just to see if I would like it. I have three Parker butterfly razors.. I chose this WLDOHO German razor for no other reason than because I have German roots.. I'm a very traditional "old school" guy. So its really out of character of me to buy anything that looks like this, to me, it was not in any way attractive, but does have a plain, down and dirty, industrial look... it looks better out of the box though... however, aesthetics aside, its lighter than expected, seems a bit out of balance. The head is heavier than the handle and feels odd at first. Loading the blade was easier than expected, though the blades are a trifle worrisome to get out of the gooey paper they arrive in. Once the blade is in, you're eyes are presented here with a pretty scary gap between the blade and the comb and I thought "ok, this one's gonna get me.!" I started shaving and nothing but smooth perfection.. It glides like it has no blade in it at all and I dropped my cautiousness immediately, and then I discovered it has an amazing shave. It's much lighter than my Parkers and is easier to hold in the shower. its lightness and wood handle work together perfectly.... I shaved with this thing like I have been using it for years... I actually sort of like the look of it now, even though its a little modern looking for me.. I like the look of my manly and old school Parker 66... but I can promise you, you will be shocked with how "off the bat comfortable" this razor is... I may even buy another for my shave cabinet... Engineered every bit as well as they say... just brush on your shaving soap and roll baby roll. I worry about water on the wood.... water and wood, don't get along... but I guess I'll dry it and oil it... I hope this helps your decision.”
