“I ordered this for my son thinking he would get a good variety. 90% of the bag I received was full of the same 4 ugly pieces! I knew there would be some ugly ones mixed in but I didnâ€™t think there would be SO MANY of the same ones. There were 58 pen blanks & 48 of them were the same ugly 4. 3 of the â€œdifferent onesâ€”

“I bought a bag a few months ago. Was very excited. I do make my own, but I was hoping I could get some nice blanks in this bag. But NO. Some looked nice, but it was air holes all the way thrue.Some where very ugly. It was like they put everything that had gone wrong in the prosess in one bag and shipped it to me. There where only 2 blanks that I could use. Total waste of money. Stay away from this.”

“I have purchased almost 30 pounds of this product, some of the pieces are too small to use for pen blanks, but most of what i have received was more than enough for making single tube pens and you get a variety of pieces so you can mix and match your pens. They also glue together very well with some CA glue and turn very smooth.”

“I purchased a bag of these yesterday and would have been better off buying 4 blanks at $4.99 a piece. Out of a 3lb bag only 2 were usable as a pen blank. Most of the pieces were too small to make anything with and the few that were have so many air bubbles they are useless. Shame on woodcraft for selling such crap.”

“I received my packagage today, about 1/2 of the pieces are 1 inch or shorter, some are so bad from the mold they can't be used. The usuable pieces are just about 2 inches, no are bigger than that. It was a big waste of money. Guess other reviewers online recieved a decent bag of pieces. Mine on the otherhand probably totaled at best $10 wotlrth of product. Very disappointed since this was first online purchase with woodcraft. Wish I coukd give it negative stars”

“I ordered two of these and in both bags 75% of the contents where either so defected with air pockets or were such small scrap peices they were totaly unusable. Many small peices 3/4 diameter x 3/4 length or smaller. Most large peices were defective cuttoffs from ends of castings.”

“Got a bag of these to play around with and that's about all they are good for. Had maybe 8-9 that were 3+ inches. I'm sure the grands can use them for building blocks. Don't waste your money.”
