“Got to give it a 5 Star. I read the rest of the reviews and do not understand the part about the sharpener. Mine makes a real pointed tip in about 3 turns. You might make sure it doesn't have some derbies in the end. I like the grip and appreciate the long barrel so it will go down holes easily for marking. Woodcraft's refills they offer is missing the most important one, WHITE for walnut marking. Had to go to Amazon for refill pack with WHITE.”

“This pencil is my favorite new thing. Next time I'm at woodcraft, I'll likely get a couple more. The clip has barbs on it and I hang it from my knife pouch. Stays in place well. This is an excellent option for someone that's constantly using a sharpie pen on things. The lead is 5mm. So, it's a big fat lead. The ergonomics of the pencil itself leave something to be desired, but I assume that's a factor of making it slip in and out of the holder. Maybe there's a way to make the bottom 3" a triangular shape w/ knurled grip that's better for the hand? Anyway, this is a great pencil. I love it.”

“I bought this from Woodcraft about 8 months the ago. Been used many times. No issue with sharpening as I got a point every time. Maybe they made an adjustment or something over the past 5 years but I love this. Clip case is great to hook on my jeans while working. Great buy. Especially now that it is on sale.”

“The pencil, leads, colors, assembly, all are great. But the sharpener, who the hell designed this? I bought this because contractors working at my house all had one (three guys). I was sold. When mine came in I can only get a round tip, not sharp as it says in the description and shows in the YouTube video. I showed the guys on the job and they all have the same issue. A partial work around that one of them showed me was to not push the lead straight into the sharpener as shown, but tip it slightly off axis. Be careful though, the leads break easily. I used the yellow on some rough cut and planed Black Walnut. This was perfect. Gary”

“I owned two of these first one would not hold the lead and the sharpener is completely worth less. The second one was even worse, both next in the trash.”
