I really like the look up this pen but the click mechanism isn't great and the tip of the pen doesn't retract all the way. I've made like 6 of these and keep running into the same issue. The instructions don't mention having to adjust anything specific to prevent that from happening.

I put it together but I made some mistakes: I pushed part B too far in, F was too large (and looked different compared to the photo), and now I don't know how to take it apart to fix it (if at all possible).

This is a nice looking pen when finished. But... there is a lot of slop between the refill and the pen tip so it rattles when you write with it. I was hoping to make more of these since I had to buy bushings but improvements need to be made. Chalk another one up to trial an error.

I turned this pen for a friend who helped me out recently. He has had it one week and the clicker has failed. I know it’s not from overuse since he’s a mechanic! Great assembly instructions but poor longevity. My closest store is an hour away, and calling customer service in Parkersburg was only for the mail order division; that I had to go to the store for any action. So corporate customer service is also part of the two star review.

I made 2 of these and gave them as gifts. Both stopped working by the next day. Very cheep, bad click mechanism.

I found that the click mechanism didn't hold up very long. Of the 2 that I bought and made one of them didn't work after a month of use. Other than that I think is is a great looking pen and easy to build.
