What a waste of time, of money, of resources, landfill space, and the list goes on. I was expecting that for something with a price tag of $400, with only 6 pieces of flat material, it would contain at least a little bit of quality. I couldn't have been more wrong. It is made from the cheapest possible chip board, the cheapest possible lamination, the cheapest possible hardware, and of course the fit of the pieces is less than ideal. The hardware for the door handle comes with screws that don't fit, and the screws that came in the pack with the handle are too long. I can fix the length issue, but it was evident that they knew there was a problem, and still included the wrong hardware. The holes drilled for the dowels don't allow for correct alignment of the sides in relation to the top/bottom, so good luck finding a flush surface. The locking latch for the cupboard door, which isn't even shown in the pictures, doesn't even functionally work. The slot in the latchplate that fastens to the inside wall of the center support, which accepts the locking lever, is too wide to allow the lever to slide into it, therefore not allowing it a place to purchase. Instead, the lever just pushes against it and forces the wall of the cabinet to bow towards the shelving. This can obviously be fixed, which takes a good bit of filing. The holes intended for the mounting of the latch plate don't even line up with what was provided. New holes would need to be predrilled. The holes drilled in each side wall piece, which are intended for securing this cabinet to the leg assembly, actually line up with 1/2" holes already drilled into the legs for the alternate position of the spreaders, which means the screws have nothing to bite into. Simply put, there is absolutely zero craftsmanship in this product. Quite honestly, this should be available for purchase from Ikea for about nineteen bucks. Seriously. No joke.
