“I bought it in store, got it home, then tested it against my other squares. It was out of square. I brought it back and exchanged it for another one, which I tested before leaving the store.”

“I bought both the 8" and 12" squares. I drew a line on a narrow board with two factory edges and the line was off from my miter saw so I drew a line off the opposite side of the board and could not duplicate the lines from one side to the other. This was the case with both the squares so obviously poor manafacturing. I also checked them both with a known percision square and both were off 1/16" to 1/8" off over the length of the rule side of the square. I would not buy another product from this manufacturer.”

“Warning.. not square. I was using it to square my miter saw and kept having the same issue. Off a little more than a 1/16". If you don't feel like that is much- then this is definitely the square for you! Not sure how these get out of quality control. Since you cannot adjust it, I wouldn't take one if they were giving them away. Do not waste your money.”

“Picked mine up in store. Dead on square, all the holes in the right places. No complaints. It's a little more convenient than my old adjustable Stanley, which, surprisingly, is still perfectly square.”

“Looked like it was gonna be a good buy with the ledge-it feature. I do like how that works but it is not square. I got the 8 inch and it is off about 1/16" at the end. It is possible to put it back to square but you have to drive out the pins and redrill the holes. Now it is very easy to knock it out of square since the pin holes are oversized. Not worth the time!!!”

“Despite the fact that it is clearly etched onto the square "Certified 90deg", it is not perfectly square. Over the length it is about 1/64" off, on the one I got. I think I can deal with it. The length is not 8". Mine was lopped off at what appears to be some arbitrary length. About 8-7/16". The measure scales run the same way on both sides, from the inside out, so you can't flip it over and measure from the outside in. The width of the 'handle' and the blade are both about 1-9/16", which makes using them for quick reference or marking, useless. The edges were not deburred and almost sharp enough to cut yourself. It's pretty inexpensive and not worth the effort returning it, so I'll try to adjust it. The product is made in China... need I say more?”
