This pad holder is awesome. Best part is keeps the pads sorted and makes it easy to apply water for wet sanding. I have had no trouble with magnets holding

Keeps my pads organized and has a small water vessel on the front for wet sanding. Saw in some of the previous comments that people had issues with the magnets staying in place, so I just added a dab of CA glue to them before pushing them in and haven't had any issues yet. Love that I can stick it right onto my lathe when I'm finishing pens. I'll update my review if any issues come up, but so far it's great.

This thing is awesome. I have hated trying to keep my pads sorted and this solves it. Instructions are not needed, just put the magnets in and you’re off to the races. Not sure what the other guy that reviewed this was doing. It’s elementary.

The holder is designed to attach to your lathe using two magnets supplied with the holder. It was intended that the magnets can be glued to the base using inset slots on either the bottom or back of the base. Unfortunately, however, the magnets included with my holder were slightly too large for the slots and consequently the magnets didn't sit solidly against the base in the slots and the CA glue I used to attach the magnets didn't set. Glue the magnets somewhere other than the designated slots!

I was hoping to update my review but it seems to have vanished??? In case anyone has read it you will know the magnets are major pain in the you know where. Having them fly apart when prying apart and loosing one was interesting. But without instructions I have no idea how the magnets are to be attached. I thought perhaps they were pressed fit in the recesses but after forcing one in it popped out about 10 seconds later. When I last reviewed I had lost both magnets, the update is that I have found one of them. I still have no idea how I will attempt to use this as the magnets are clearly not going to cut it. Ed
