“This lathe has too much electronics for a woodturner unless a computer geek. It is constantly giving warnings when trying to start up or reverse. If one is an experienced turner, they will be unhappy. Another problem, cannot put a vacuum chuck on this lathe without purchasing a third party hand wheel. Contacted Teknatool support and talked to 3 different people, two did not know what a vacuum chuck was. Lathe makes a great spindle turning machine but not a bowl turning. Recommend the laguna over this one if planning on bowl turning.”

“Shipping was quick, product came in large crate very secured inside bolted to the bottom. Assembly was easy. People interested in this should note the threading is 1.25" x 8 TPI so you'll want a chuck that fits that, or an adapter. The motor is great, super safe, quiet, and powerfull. With the outrigging feature there is allot you can make on this lathe.”

“An amazing lathe whisper quite, vibration free. One heavy lathe I also have the outrigger Nova did a very nice job on their lathe tech support at Nova is outstanding.”
