Just bought this, easy assembly and does a fantastic job! The unit is very easy to move around. Dust bag much easier to get on and off than I thought.

Solid unit especially if you have a smaller shop. The suction is more than adequate for my needs. Currently have it in a 2.5 car garage and needed something with a smaller footprint so I can still park in there. I do not have anything plumbed and run 1 tool at a time, so for my needs it's perfect. It can be easily reversed so that the intake is facing down rather than how it's pictured. Definitely recommend

You will want to upgrade quickly. Not enough power and the bag and filter are unwieldy.

Overall this unit is excellent. I have a decent sized shop but I prefer not to route ducts all over the place so I have one of these dedicated to my saw and considering another for my router and bandsaw. I have zero complains on its ability to extract dust from my Sawstop. Some complain about the intake being at the top, but I think it makes a lot of sense when you couple this with an Oneida cyclone, which I have done. I used it for about a year before doing the cyclone and either setup works, I just prefer the cyclone as it is easier to empty the canister and the filter/bag on the vac barely sees anything but the smallest of dust. That does add another 250 to the cost and a slightly bigger footprint, but it's not necessary. Overall, I recommend this DC to anyone.

I have a small shop, Needed a good dust collector for my Sawstop. I have it set up to connect to my Router table, jointer, bandsaw, planer and drum sander. I use single point hook up. I run one device at a time, this works great. YES You can flip the Motor assembly so it is an UP FLOW. The holes and fittings are there. Just look at the device when you assemble it. Not Hard to do at all. Works well, nice filter. Easy to change bag. I remove the filter and work from above. I do wish I had a bigger space, we all Need MORE POWER.

I have a small shop. Permanently connected to my SawStop, but have ports available to connect to my Router table, planer, bandsaw and jointer. Just have to juggle the ducts/tubing. Great improvement over a shop vac. Yes you can assemble with the intake coming from below the fan, or above. Your choice. Physical size just perfect, and Dust collection and noise both greatly improved.

Nice unit, but i wish inlet port was better designed for airflow. Why does a 1hp unit have a inlet facing up?

I bought my B flux at Woodcraft. Straight out of the box plugged it in turned it on and a huge flash of sparks out of the switch. After resetting my 20 amp breaker I made sure the fan was spinning freely. It was so i tried again. This time it worked for 10 seconds before blowing. Laguna told me that the issue was low voltage at my outlet which measured 125v and had never been an issue with other tools. I took the motor out and dropped it off at a motor rebuilder. They told me that the motor had an internal short and was completely destroyed it would have to be replaced, I braced my self for the cost of replacement. $140! is all that cheap piece of crap costs! I opted for a upgraged made in USA model for $345 I was happy to pay it because I know I will have no more issues.
