Woodworker's Supply, Inc. was founded in 1972 by John Wirth, Jr. and Billie Jean Wirth with seven employees in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our philosophy has always been to serve professional and tasteful amateur woodworkers in supplying their machinery, tools, and other woodworking needs. Our ownership is still the same and Billie Jean still manages the company. Our 40,000 ft2 Albuquerque facility currently holds our fulfillment operation for the central, southwest, and western states plus our marketing department.

“The hinge works fine as an affordable option for this hinge style but there are certainly quality differences between these and higher cost versions like Blum - material thickness and quality, adjustability, ease of installation. The bigger problem was with Woodworker’s Supply - the way they had it advertised on their website was confusing and appeared to be a set of both hinge and mounting plate - even showing just a photo of just the mounting plate when you searched for the hinge. So I was reasonably surprised and upset when the hinges arrived without the mounting plates. Customer service was not overly helpful or sympathetic in the matter. And when I finally began to install the hinges I discovered of the 64 I ordered 4 were of different types altogether (shouldn’t be that difficult to pack all the same type). When I had to call back to customer service I was treated as if it was my fault for not immediately checking that every hinge was the same and I should be grateful they were doing me this favor to send me the correct hinges. I will never order from Woodworker’s Supply again. Other than that, I would recommend this hinge as an affordable alternative.”
