Magnetic Tool Bars Reviews

3.8 Rating 5 Reviews
Read Workshop Heaven Reviews

Magnetic storage bars are a great way to keep your tools organised and maximise the use of vertical surfaces in the workshop.
There are lots of magnetic bars on the market, most of them overpriced, and most of them designed for holding lightweight kitchen utensils rather than tools. Although relatively inexpensive, these have plenty of grab and really seize the tool from your hand with a satisfying clunk. Ideal for chisels, rasps, files, saws, layout tools, you name it!
Made from ¹⁄₁₆" powder coated carbon steel.
Top Tip: Try to avoid letting two of them meet face to face, you will have a devil of a job to get them apart again.

I felt the listing was a little misleading. The toolbar is designed to have the magnets on show - so the photo is actually showing the back of the product. The magnets do not work if you mount it with the metal side showing. The magnets are quite unsightly, and when I queried this I was told people choose to make wooden laminate covers for them. I think this should have been made clear in the listing itself.

Not bad, but for lightweight tools only

Strong magnets fixed into a metal bar with mounting holes. Screwed to the wall and my hand saws are no longer in the way. Just a solid "does what you need it to" piece of kit.

They arrived scratched and had some paper glued to the magnets. It seemed like a previous customer had returned them
